For 2017 Polaris has released a new 500cc power plant that is looking to be a great motor! RVS has spent many hours testing and tuning to verify that we have pulled every bit of power out of this motor as reliably as we can. Drivability, safety, and performance are at the heart of all of our tunes. Your ECU must be sent to our shop in Cambridge, MN. If you prefer not to send in your ECU you can alternatively purchase the Power Vision 3 tuner and perform the same tuning via your diagnostic port at home.
- Speed limiter removed
- Rev Limiters raised
- Improved throttle response in all modes
- Improved ignition timing advance optimized for 91 Octane for maximum power on all stages
- Fueling adjusted for aftermarket components (intakes, exhausts) for optimal Air/Fuel Ratios
- No need to run a “piggyback” fuel controller with our reflash for most bolt on mods (You are responsible to make sure your mods are compatible with our programming – Most aftermarket companies’ exhausts and intakes are compatible with our programming)
- Torque Limiters removed for a much more responsive and fun vehicle
- Cooling fan on temperature is lowered by 15-20 Deg F, but can be set to whatever temperature the customer wants
Stage 1 – Stock intake and stock exhaust – 2 wheel hp
Stage 1.5 – Aftermarket intake and stock exhaust – 2 wheel hp
Stage 2 – Stock intake and aftermarket exhaust – 4 wheel hp
Stage 3 – Aftermarket intake and exhaust – 5 wheel hp
*Intake modification means a snorkel kit or air box modification that allows more air to flow through the intake system. In most cases an aftermarket air filter does not qualify as the restriction points are typically the inlet into the air box.
*Aftermarket exhaust can be a slip-on or full system. Please tell us what exhaust you are running in the special instructions box at checkout.
